Guardians Of The Galaxy 2
Marvel released tie first poster and teaser of Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 ahead of its may 2017 premiere Marvel Studios

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is yet to be released in the US but has been released in selected countries including the UK. The film is making waves at the box office already and director James Gunn has started discussing the plot possibilities for the threequel with the film's lead actor Chris Pratt.

The director of the Marvel galactic superhero film has also teased a 'significant' role for Zoe Saldana's Gamora. While discussing his foresight for Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Gunn told USA Today that he has started writing for the film and "some pretty intense conversations" with Saldana about it.

According to Gunn, Gamora is part of the crew of "damaged souls who are looking for some form of love or redemption and haven't really ever experienced either of those things."

Saldana's character and her adopted sister Nebula are vital to the narrative of the inter-galactic story as they both were raised and trained as deadly assassins by Mad Titan Thanos. While the latter's role in the second Guardians film remains a mystery, his presence in Avengers Infinity War will surely create havoc on the Earth and the Avengers can need a great deal of help from their space counterparts, especially the sisters who know Thanos no better than anyone.

Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula, dished more about her character's sibling rivalry with Gamora. "She's been raised to be a killing machine and not have any empathy or emotion. However, she has these natural feelings toward her sister that she's trying to suppress but can't," she told the website.
In a separate interview with Screenrant, Gillian revealed that the second film will dive deep into Nebula's back story to help the viewers know the real reason of her bitter personality. "I feel like we are definitely going to explore more and more with Nebula. I mean, so, in the first movie she was this angry, bitter villain and we sort of understood why, but we didn't really get into the details. This movie we dive right into it and we know exactly why she is the way she is and I feel like she is definitely going to make some self-discoveries through that."

She further teases how the sisters may join force to work together against future challenges. "You know, she is having quite a cathartic experience with her sister in this movie and I think she is going to get to the point where maybe she'll get to the good side, but also I kind of want to maintain a little bit of the bad."

The Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Kurt Russel and Sylvester Stallone starrer Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been released in the UK but will release in the US on 5 May.
