Halle Berry Welcomes Baby Boy with Olivier Martinez

Oscar winning actress Halle Berry and husband Olivier Martinez welcomed their first child together - a baby boy at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

The 47-year-old actress has a five-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, from a relationship with French Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.

"Olivier hasn't left Halle's side. Nahla visited her baby brother earlier today," a source told People.

This is the first child for the French actor, who married Berry in July. The two have been dating since 2010, when they worked together on Dark Tide.

"When I first met Olivier, there wasn't the initial 'I'm in love!' It was something that grew more gradually -- and it feels more real because of that," she said of her relationship, "[Marriage] is another one of those never-say-never things. I'm a hopeless romantic, and I won't stop till I get it right!"

In June, Martinez revealed the sex of their baby during an interview at the 2013 Champs-Elysees Film Festival in France.

"My son will be an American, but I remain French," Olivier told People, adding, "I'm French — it's less important. Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I'm still a foreigner."

In April, Berry spoke about her pregnancy to CNN: "I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."
