A roadmap, containing the software update plans for HTC's One series smartphones, has leaked.

Unsurprisingly, the roadmap has been shared by recognised XDA contributor, LlabTooFeR who has not added older HTC devices such as One X and the original HTC Butterfly as these will not receive any further updates.

Most of the HTC handsets listed in the roadmap have already received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0. The only device which is yet to get the software taste is HTC One Mini M4. As LlabTooFeR claims, the update has been in the testing phase for One Mini and is expected to roll out next week, sometime between 30 June and 6 July.

The listing further suggests that Android 4.4.3 has been under development stage for HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 but HTC might skip it in favour of Android 4.4.4.

Besides, Android 4.4.4 integrating Sense 6 is undergoing testing for One M8 and its Dual-SIM version, One Mini 2, One E8 and One M7. HTC is expected to release Android 4.4.4 for One M8 and One M7 within the July-August time-frame while the rest of the devices are likely to get the update between August and September.

Now it is the turn of Google's upcoming Android Operating System, which the company calls Android L.

The new software is in the evaluation stage for the One M8 Google Play Edition (GPE), One M8, One M8 Dual SIM, One Mini 2, One E8, One M7, One M7 Dual SIM, One Max (T6), One Mini (M4), Butterfly S (DLXP), Desire 816 (A5) and Desire 610 (A3). It is expected to be released for all the aforementioned smartphones within October and December.

Prior to this, HTC had confirmed that Android L for One M8 and One M7 will be rolled out worldwide within 90 days of receiving the final software from Google.
