Hull City take on Sheffield Wednesday in the 2015/16 Championship Play-Off final at Wembley on Saturday, 28 May.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 5pm BST. Live coverage of the match is available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Radio commentary is available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

The Championship Play-Off final will give one of the two teams an opportunity to play in the Premier League next season, England's elite club football competition. With Burnley and Middlesbrough already securing promotion to the Premier League, there is one spot left and Hull and Sheffield Wednesday will fight for the place.

The Tigers defeated Derby County 3-2 on aggregate as their first leg of 3-0 win away from home helped Steve Bruce's side to avoid elimination. This has given Hull a chance to beat Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and are believed to be the favourites for this clash.

Carlos Carvalhal's side made it to the Play-Off final after defeating Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 on aggregate. They had a 2-0 lead from the first leg and the return leg ended in a 1-1 draw. Sheffield Wednesday are the underdogs entering this fixture. However, at this stage, they have a chance of a win over Hull at Wembley.

What managers say

Steve Bruce: "Make no mistake, even the experienced players and managers get themselves in a state, it's only human. It's then how you deal with it and how you manage it. You've got to try and enjoy it because these games don't come around very often. We know what's at stake but it's just about performing on the biggest stage and someone being a hero."

Carlos Carvalhal: "If we don't believe, who will? If we didn't believe in what we are doing, we wouldn't have achieved what we have done this season. We are the outsiders but being underdogs doesn't mean we don't have 50 per cent of the chances to win the game. We must believe we can do it and I've given a strong message to the players that we can achieve it."
