A Palestinian man has been stabbed in an attack by three Israelis in Jerusalem, according to Palestinian media reports.

The man, from Kufr Aqab in East Jerusalem, has been named as Fadi Radwan on social media sites.

According to the Times of Israel's news editor, Ilan Ben Zion, the three Israelis asked for a lighter near City Hall in Jerusalem before stabbing him in the leg.

It remains unclear how many times the victim was stabbed. He has been taken to hospital in East Jerusalem following the attack and his condition is currently unknown.
