Game of Thrones season 6
Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington plays Jon Snow in the HBO series HBO

Game Of Thrones premiered on HBO in the US in 2011, and ever since British actor Kit Harington, who plays a key role in the fantasy series has become synonymous with his character Jon Snow. Harington, who plays a trained soldier in the HBO show, is almost always seen sporting his beard and signature locks. But, during a recent outing the 29-year-old actor rocked a very different look making him unrecognisable.

On Thursday, 18 August, the Game Of Thrones actor stepped out in Montreal, Canada, sporting a casual look sans his intense beard.

He was wearing a white tank top underneath an unbuttoned shirt as he made his way with his grocery bag. While the actor kept his stubble light, he sported a Harry Potter style with round-rimmed glasses.

According to Us Weekly, the Pompeii actor is in Canada to shoot for his upcoming film, The Death And Life Of John F Donovan.

Reports state that Harington's next movie focuses on "a young actor who recalls his pen-pal relationship with his American TV idol — played by Harrington — who died 10 years earlier, exploring the hardships of fame and hurdles of the movie business."

After his success as Lord Snow in Game Of Thrones, the Canadian drama film directed by Xavier Dolan, will indeed be a refresher for Harington. He will be seen alongside Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman, Susan Sarandon and Bella Thorne in the movie.

The news comes after the English actor recently confessed about a disappointing twist for his character in season 6 of the HBO series. "I knew I was coming back to life, but I didn't know if I'd come back as a changed person, as a villain," Harington told The Wrap adding, "So I couldn't pre-plan anything, which was hard. Then I got the scripts, and actually, he comes back as himself, as the Jon that everyone knows, which at first I found disappointing."
