Game Of Thrones actor Kit Harrington has opened up about his relationship with his co-star Rose Leslie. The English actor, who plays the fan-favourite character Jon Snow in the HBO series revealed the exact moment when he fell in love with Leslie.

He said that the magical location in Iceland fuelled romance between Snow and his wildling lover Ygritte, but in real life. In a recent interview with fashion magazine, Italian Vogue, Harrington reminisced about his favourite memory from the show and how he found love in the scenic locales.

"The three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season. Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love," he revealed talking about his romance with former Game Of Thrones actress Rose Leslie

The on-again off-again couple started dating in 2012 and have since kept their relationship low-key. In fact, they were officially photographed as a couple in April at the red carpet event of the 2016 Olivier Awards at the Royal Opera House in London. Although Leslie's character was cut off from the show at the end of season 4, her and Harrington's real-life romance blossomed in contrast to their otherwise tumultuous relationship on-screen.

Game Of Thrones is not particularly a romantic setting, so when a plot as grim and bloody as the HBO drama breeds romantic connections, fans can only be at awe of the couple. Gushing about his lady love, Harrington told Vogue, "If you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love."

When the newly-resurrected character connected with such an adorable love story, fans could not help but brood on his fate in the narrative. Turns out Jon Snow's fate is helping Harrington in more ways than imaginable such as escaping a speeding ticket.

On the Tonight Show With Jimmy Falon, Harrington admitted: "This policeman comes up and pulls me over... and he said, 'Look, there is two ways we can do this. You can either follow me back to the police station now and I book you in, or you can tell me whether you live in the next series of Game Of Thrones'." Any guess what he might have told the police officer!
