Justin Bieber may not be attending Selena Gomez's Revival tour but a report suggests he has other plans for his ex-flame. The Sorry singer has apparently planned a "romantic surprise" for the Same Old Love singer when she kicks off her tour in Las Vegas on 6 May.

"Justin is planning on doing something special for Selena's opening night. It will be a surprise, but will most likely involve something like sending tons of her favorite flowers to her dressing room, and maybe sending something funny like an inside joke between them," a source told HollywoodLife. "He wants her to know that if he's not there in person, that he is there in spirit."

Meanwhile, the songstress has been avoiding the 22-year-old since attending his show in Los Angeles on 24 March. Bieber's show was also attended by Kourtney Kardashian, who he was first spotted with in December 2015. Reports have claimed that the two had "hooked up a few times". On 2 May, Gomez also skipped the Met Gala after-party so as to avoid running into Bieber and his former fling — model Haley Baldwin.

Gomez has revealed that she won't be performing a Justin Bieber-inspired song titled The Heart Wants What It Wants at her tour because she says it takes her "back to a place that maybe wasn't the best place".

"There are things that I can't do. I won't be performing this on this tour because I don't want to," Selena told Entertainment Weekly. "It's like when you smell a scent and it takes you back to a place that maybe wasn't the best place. That stuff is a little bit more difficult."
