Fresh from her holiday in Mustique, the Duchess of Cambridge undertook her first public engagement since returning home on Thursday (12 February).

Six-months pregnant Kate Middleton showed off her baby bump wearing a stylish cream Max Mara coat, which highlighted her tan.

She was touring the Ben Ainslie sailing facility in Portsmouth.

While visiting the Spinnaker Tower, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Middleton had a go on a sailing winch simulator machine, before rubbing her pregnancy bump protectively.

She wore a nautical-themed dress called Somerset by Alice Temperley.

The duchess received several gifts, including a hi-vis vest with the words "The Boss" printed on the back, a Portsmouth Football Club shirt for her son with "George" emblazoned on the back and a sailing shirt with "Prince George" written on it.

Prince William and his wife are expecting their second child in April.
