Kim Kardashian faces backlash after revealing she gave up breastfeeding due to North's jealousy

The 35-year-old welcomed her second child with rapper husband Kanye West on 5 December. Opening up about the sibling rivalry during an appearance on her sister's chat show she said that the toddler would "pull" her younger brother off her during his feeds.

"I was feeding him on this side, like this way, and she was so jealous that she took her little milk box and put it in my bra, the side with the straw sticking out, and she wanted to drink while he was drinking," she said in a preview clip of the series' finale of Kocktails with Khloe. Kanye West's wife added that although her daughter eventually adjusted, by then it was too late and her milk had "all dried up".

Although Khloe saw the funny side, members of the online community might need some convincing. Many social users have accused the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star of lying about her breastfeeding and using her daughter as a scapegoat.

Earlier this year Kardashian weighed in on the controversial topic of breastfeeding in public by insisting that while she didn't see anything wrong with it, it was down to the individual.

"Now that I'm a mom, I say whatever makes you comfortable goes. I still personally wouldn't breastfeed at a restaurant with a bunch of people I didn't know staring at me. I've seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was," she wrote in a post on her website.

"Now that I'm a mom, I'm not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can't leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom, while leaving the others at the table."
