LG G5 goes on pre-order in UK LG

Unveiled at 2016 Mobile World Congress event, LG's flagship G series smartphone is now available for pre-order for users in the UK. Starting from independent online retailers, the handset is on pre-order through a number of carrier networks in the country.

High-street retailer, Carphone Warehouse is offering the SIM free handset at £499.99, whereas the pay monthly plan starts at just £37.50. The plan fetches a pair of B&O headphones worth £149 for free.

Under pay monthly, the handset is on contract with a number of networks such as O2, Vodafone, EE and iD. The lower plan starts at £36 from O2 and with upfront cost at £59.99. The contract that is for 24 months also offer unlimited minutes and texts and 3GB 4G data. Another deal coming from O2 does not have any upfront, but only £37.50 per month for a contract period of two years. The deal also brings unlimited text, minutes and 1GB 4G data. The retailer promises the phone will hit its store on 11 April.

If you are looking for SIM-free models, the handset is on pre-order with a number of online retailers. Clove UK is charging £529 for an unlocked model that is available in all three colour variants including titan, gold and silver. As part of promotional offer , even Clove is offering B&O headphones for free.

The handset is also on pre-order at Unlocked Mobiles, with marginal price difference. The retailer is charging £498.98. Consumers are expected to receive the delivery of their devices starting from 1 April. Meanwhile, Expanys has also confirmed it will sell the smartphone when it becomes available in the UK. The retailer is charging £529.99.
