Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez is the subject of interest for Juventus and they hope to have found a way to tempt Liverpool to part with the striker.

Liverpool might be offered the chance to land Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio if they hand Luis Saurez as part of a player plus cash swap deal, according to reports.

The Reds have continually insisted that Suarez is not for sale, despite the Uruguay international continuously pleading with the club to leave over the summer.

But the Express are reporting that Juventus are hoping to tempt Liverpool into changing their mind by offering Machisio as well as defender Leonardo Bonucci in a swap deal that would see Brendan Rodgers land two of his top targets in the January transfer window.

Machisio has been an important part of Juventus' line-up for some time now after moving from the youth set-up into the senior squad in 2006. At 27 years of age he is at the peak of his career and the club have valued him at around £25m.

Meanwhile Bonucci has equally become an integral member to the Old Lady's squad after making the move from Bari in 2010 and as Liverpool look for more defensive options Rodgers reportedly sees the centreback as a good addition at a more affordable price of £15m.

But now Juventus have decided to try and use the fact that they have two players Liverpool want to encourage them to consider parting with Suarez, and the paper claims that Rodgers might look elsewhere for targets in January as he is aware that even two players won't make up for the hitman's ability on the pitch.
