Louise and Jamie Redknapp planning to spend Christmas together: 'She misses what she has'
The Redknapps are celebrating Christmas together one last time as a family.
Their marriage has been the subject of intense media scrutiny following their separation back in June, but Louise and Jamie Redknapp are reportedly spending Christmas together as normal.
The 43-year-old singer reportedly filed for divorce in recent weeks, but is set to return to the Redknapp family home over the festive season during the painful time.
Woman magazine claims that Louise, who has returned to the limelight since her stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year, is planning a homely Christmas period with her estranged former footballer husband and two sons, Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.
A source told the publication: "She wants her boys to experience at least one final family Christmas before she and Jamie make a decision over their marriage.
"Louise misses what she has – there's no denying that.''
The couple, who have been married for 19 years, are keen to put the children before their marital woes.
The source added: ''It's clear the couple are keen to put the family first, so let's hope 2018 will be the new beginning Louise and Jamie so desperately need."
While Louise has successfully kept her wedding ring finger hidden in the run-up to Christmas, football pundit Jamie removed his a few weeks ago.
News of their final Christmas together comes as it was reported the couple had failed to get their relationship back on track.
An unidentified source close to Louise told The Sun on Sunday: "They have come to a mutual agreement that divorce is the only option. Louise has filed the paperwork and there's no going back."
It was previously claimed that the mother-of-two's stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 prompted her to pursue a stage career, while her friendship with co-star Daisy Lowe made her realise she was still sexy.
Louise previously revealed how the show made her drastically re-think her life, forcing her and Jamie to live apart.
She said that the turning point came when Lowe walked into her dressing room and told her: "Oh, my God look at your gorgeous body. You have to wear a sexy dress."
