M25 Motorists Facing Rush Hour Delays Near M1 And M23 Due To Overturned Lorries

Rush hour commuters are facing long delays on the M25 after two lorries overturned in separate incidents on the motorway.
The first overturned between the M25 in Hertfordshire and M1 at Kings Langley at approximately 4pm resulting in traffic backing up along the exit slip road.
It is not yet known what if any injuries were sustained in the incident but an air ambulance attended the scene.
Drivers have been advised to avoid the area while those caught up in the queues have warned other motorists heading towards junction 20 of what awaits them there.

Meanwhile, three lanes along the M25 in Surrey have been closed because of a second overturned lorry.
Queuing traffic has backed up anticlockwise between junction 6, at the A22 Godstone and Clacket Lane Services, because of an overturned vehicle and recovery work. Congestion snakes back to junction 8, A217 Reigate.
