Nicki Minaj has reignited conversation about her Christian faith after posting a direct message on X saying she will not turn back because she wants to see Jesus 'some day.'

The 30 August post, which quotes the traditional gospel lyric 'I've got my mind made up,' landed squarely in the middle of ongoing speculation about whether the Trinidadian-born rapper has formally become born again.

To recall, Minaj has spoken about Christianity for years, but her public expressions have grown louder and more frequent in recent months.

For context, she described reconnecting with her childhood faith at the December 2025 Turning Point USA AmericaFest, saying it felt like reuniting with 'a long-lost best friend' and recalling God asking, 'Where were you? Where've you been? I've been waiting on you.'
