Malia Obama has been rocking some serious sartorial choices of late, and her most recent outfit saw her take a simple denim shirt sans pants and turn it into killer summer officewear.

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old was photographed heading to The Weinstein Company – where she has been interning throughout the spring – rocking a short denim dress. With a daring hemline and short sleeves, the bright blue outfit sat perfectly on Malia's frame as she made her way to work.

Her only accessories were her signature leather backpack and a pair of worn-in Chuck Taylors.

Following life at the White House, Malia has been pursuing her filmmaking aspirations by working with famed producer Harvey Weinstein. Beginning at the end of January, the teenager is now in the final weeks of her internship.

Although her stint at the Weinstein Company was only for three months, the eldest daughter of Barack Obama has shouldered some key responsibilities in this period. She was responsible for reading and pitching scripts to the production's executives during her internship.

Working with the New York-based film company marks her second experience in the world of showbiz after her previous stint on the set of HBO series Girls in 2015.

Meanwhile, her parents, Barack and Michelle Obama have been taking some much-needed respite following their public role as the First Family of the US. Until February they were vacationing at the Necker Island and now the couple is spending time at Mo'orea, per reports.
