The makers of Suicide Squad have been constantly feeding fans with teasers to keep them intrigued as the film is set for release on 5 August. Now, Margot Robbie – who plays Harley Quinn – has featured in a new promo video, which was aired at the star-studded 2016 ESPY Awards.

In the promo video, Robbie informs her shrink New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski that she and her friends – the antihero squad – are not just a team of bad guys. "For starters, they are actually really funny," the actress says.

"[Deadshot is] A leader with tremendous accuracy," she says, referring to Will Smith's character. "Team mates who many would consider unstoppable," she adds.

At the end of the clip, Gronkowski sympathises with Robbie and says, "Hates give my squad (the Patriots) a hard time too." To which Robbie replies: "You really get me Rob."

Check out the official synopsis of the film below:

"It feels good to be bad... Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. US intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?"
