Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal believes that this is the Gunners's best chance to scupper Jose Mourinho's 75-match unbeaten run at the Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners are currently third in the league and a win here will take them only one point behind Chelsea who have played a game more.

Arsenal will have the opportunity to overthrow them from the top spot when they take on Swansea midweek and resume their quest for title glory.

Arsene Wenger, who will lead Arsenal for the 1,000th game as manager, will be looking to banish his record against Jose Mourinho, who beat back Wenger in 11 attempts in all competitions, an ignominious record for a manager of his status.

It will be a tactical battle between the two sides who have both shown glimpses of brilliance this season but have not always been consistent enough to move clear in the title race.

Arsenal have a lot of injury concerns to fight against, with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere out from the squad. Chelsea have Willian and Ramires suspended from their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at the Villa Park.

"It has been a few years that [Mourinho] has not lost playing at home with Chelsea, and there is no better moment to break that record than this weekend. We are aware that it will not be easy, but we'll go there to get the three points," Monreal told www.arsenal.com

"We're on a good run, but we have a very tough schedule coming up. We've just played against Tottenham, now we have Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton away, and also a game in hand.

"But we feel confident, we're doing things well and we want to get as many points as possible because we still have options to win the title," he concluded.
