We miss them, they evidently miss each other, so when it comes to One Tree Hill everyone is still a big blubbering mess of emotion. There's not many fans that wouldn't love to see the gang all back together on screen one day, and some may have had hopes that it could be in the pipeline after Sophia Bush, Antwon Tanner and other cast members bombarded Instagram with reunion pictures.
But unfortunately for some, the cast were simply in town together for the eagerly-awaited One Tree Hill Convention From Wilmington to Montreal and while it may not be the confirmation of a tenth season that avid watchers had wished for, it was still pretty awesome to see them all in one place again. Especially because of how much they all seemed to enjoy it too.
Bush, who played Brooke on the well-loved television show shared the most photographs from the event on her Instagram, one of which showed the entire group all together as they sat, grinning round a table. She captioned the happy-looking photo: "Peanuts (and one sleeping beauty) #longday #greatday #fam #likeitwasyesterday #pickuprightwhereweleaveoff #hitmewithyourbestshot #purplereign."
She also posted a snap of her and co-star Bethany Joy Lenz, pretending to cry, showing how much the pair have missed each other since the 2012 season nine finale, to which she wrote alongside: "so. many. FEELINGS #BigGirlsDontCry #YesTheyDo #Reunited #AndItFeelsSoGood #SoGoodWeSobbed #AllThe Feels".
Bush wasn't the only one to share photographs from the event however as Tanner, Stephen Colletti and Daphne Zuniga each posted their own snaps with their own equally sweet captions. Zuniga wrote: "Reunited. 5 years of playing this woman's mom. A little red wine and catching up w @sophiabush#iloveher #onetreehill #fwtm" whilst Tanner referred to absent castmember James Rafferty in one of his selfies.
Sadly for guests at the convention, well-loved cast members Chad Michael-Murray, James Lafferty and Hilarie Burton weren't in attendance but even though they weren't there, they were certainly not forgotten. Bush seemed determined to share the day's events with her absent, fellow co-stars. She took to Instagram one last time after the meeting posting a screenshot of herself attempting to FaceTime Burton (who played Peyton), alongside the caption: "When you're trying to FaceTime bae from the hotel to tell her all the things, but she isn't picking up #SendAwkwardScreenshots #BreytonFeels #AboutLastNight".
The numerous photos of the reunited group sent OTH fans into a bit of a frenzy on Twitter with many of them exclaiming that the images gave them "so many feels" and made them feel nostalgic for the show.
