Outlander fans who are eagerly awaiting the show's return this year are in for a treat. The series' upcoming episode's opening scene will be unveiled today (24 January).

Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe shared this "really exciting news" with fans on YouTube in a recent video posted on the official channel of their show. The cast members said that the news would make fans "scream." Check it out below:

Ever since Outlander premiered in August 2015, the show has managed to engage and entertain viewers with its unique fantasy/drama storyline. The last episode titled 'Both Sides Now' ended on a cliffhanger and fans are eager to know how the plot will unfold.

Meanwhile, as per Outlander's official Facebook page, Season One Volume One will be released in digital HD format on February 9, and then on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 3, 2015.

Outlander returns with a new episode 'The Reckoning' on 4 April, 2015 on Starz.
