The game between Pakistan and West Indies is very crucial for both sides as the winner of this tie will make it to the last four of the T20 World Cup. The team which comes out victorious will finish second in Group 2, behind league leaders India, who have managed to win all four Super 10 matches.

The winner of the match between Pakistan and West Indies will face Group 1 leaders Sri Lanka in the semi-final. The Lankans went on top of the table after their impressive win over New Zealand on Monday.

Pakistan come into this game after registering a comfortable 50-run victory over host nation Bangladesh on Sunday. Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and elected to bat. They posted a total of 190 runs, with Ahmed Shehzad becoming the first Pakistani batsman to score a century in the shorter format of the game.

In reply, Bangladesh managed 140 runs from their quota of 20 overs, losing seven wickets in the process. Hafeez would be looking for a similar performance against the defending champions on Tuesday evening.

The West Indies enter this crucial fixture after defeating Australia in a nail-biting clash between the two sides on Friday. George Bailey's men batted first and posted a total of 178 runs, losing eight wickets in the process.

The West Indies managed to chase the target in 19.4 overs, thanks to their skipper Darren Sammy's brilliant knock of 34 runs from 13 balls, which included three sixes and two fours. The victory over Australia has kept them alive in the T20 World Cup.

Both Pakistan and the West Indies have four points from three games and a win for either side on Tuesday will see them seal a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
