Piers Morgan Blasts Prince William, Kate Middleton Over 'Bland' Statement About Epstein Files
Prince William and Kate Middleton are urged to address Prince Andrew's links to Jeffrey Epstein head on

Sources claim that Prince William and Kate Middleton have spoken out about the newly-released Epstein files through a spokesperson. The royal couple are said to be deeply concerned about the documents, but remain focused on the victims of Jeffrey Epstein.
The Epstein files also made mention of Prince William's uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew. Several emails between Andrew and Epstein have been included in the documents. What's worse, there are claims that Andrew shared some trade secrets with Epstein while the latter was still alive.
Prince William, Kate Middleton Urged to Speak Up
Piers Morgan, a known critic of the royal family, blasted Prince William and Middleton for their short statement about the Epstein files. On his social media account, the British reporter called the statement bland and urged the royal family to tackle the ongoing issue involving Andrew head-on.
'Hmmm. We're all "deeply concerned" - I don't think a bland two-line statement from a spokesman is going to cut it for the Royals now. The Epstein scandal is in danger of becoming an existential threat to the Monarchy itself if they don't tackle the Andrew crisis head-on,' Morgan wrote.

Royal Fans React to the Controversy
His post garnered a slew of mixed reactions from the public. One royal fan sided with Morgan by saying that the royal family should treat Andrew as a threat to the institution and should therefore do something about him. Another royal fan also criticised the spokesperson's statement, saying that using the phrase 'deeply concerned' is similar to providing band-aid solutions to an issue.
'The monarchy isn't just facing a PR crisis it's staring down a legitimacy crisis. If they don't act decisively, public trust won't be asking questions, it'll be demanding accountability,' the royal fan wrote.
'The only way to end the existential threat is for William to go further than his father. King Charles evicted Andrew from Royal Lodge and stripped the "Prince" title last year, but the files keep coming. If William wants to save the crown he'll eventually wear, he might have to be the one to officially call for Andrew to cooperate with the DOJ,' another person wrote.
'Deeply concerned does not cut it. When handling such a case that is more of a tumour, you don't just state an expression of deep concern. You do radical surgery. That is what should be done, the monarch is under threat!' another royal fan said.
Other commenters seemingly sided with the royal family. One of them said that Prince William can't do anything more for now because he is just following King Charles' directive. Another royal fan said that authorities and not the royal family should decide on what should happen to Andrew.
Andrew, His Ex-Wife, and Their Children
Andrew isn't the only one mentioned in the Epstein files. His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and their two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, were also mentioned in the documents. Sources revealed that Ferguson took her daughters to see Epstein a week after he was released from jail for trafficking minors. During their 2009 visit, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were 21 and 19 years old.
