On 21 June, 1982, Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales welcomed their son William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor into the world.
Today, the Duke of Cambridge, who is third in line to the British throne, celebrates 30 years as a loved royal.
According to St James's Palace William would be "spending it in a low-key, private fashion".
Despite that, he has without doubt get a lot to celebrate.
He married Kate Middleton, the love of his life last year, and has notched up a successful career in the military.
Most recently he helped his grandmother Elizabeth celebrate her 60 years on the throne.
