RHONJ Teresa Giudice
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star broke down in jail according to a new report BRAVO

There is some doubt if The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 will be renewed, but Melissa Gorga teased fans with casting news.

Cast member Melissa told the Good Day New York News, "We are not confirmed for it. It's all up in the air. There's nothing in stone. They're casting right now. There are no definite."

One reason for the show's unconfirmed future is Gorga's sister-in-law and co-star Teresa Giudice, who is serving time in prison.

According to Gorga she is doing real well in prison, and admitted that she hasn't visited her.

"I think she's keeping her visits for her children." The actress went on to say that Teresa is holding up "really well" despite being away from her girls. "It is obviously not easy being away from the children. I think that's probably the hardest part."

When asked if Giudice keeps up with the show's news, she replied, "I don't think she's out of touch completely. She does have a lot of fans sending her clippings and things like that. She's not out of touch. They can email."

The American reality star was sentenced to 15 months in prison after she pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy. Her husband, Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, was sentenced to 41 months.

Contrary to Gorga's version, a new report in Life and Style Magazine says the reality star is not doing well, and that she has already reached breaking point behind bars.

"One day, she was in the gym working out much longer than she normally does. When she was done, she burst out crying in front of everyone," an insider told the magazine.

Teresa, who has served three months at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, said "prison is starting to take control over her," shared the source.

The insider also told the magazine that she regrets keeping her husband's secrets, along with those of her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa's.

"She says times like these make her wish that she had snitched on them all," the source revealed.
