Brandi Glanville has sparked alarm among fans after revealing she suffered severe chemical burns from a risky DIY beauty experiment gone wrong. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 52, posted a candid TikTok video on 4 August showing her red, raw skin after applying Nair hair removal cream to her face in an attempt to 'irritate' what she believes is a facial parasite.

Seven Minutes Too Long

In the video, Glanville quipped, 'Nair is the fountain of youth', before admitting she had left the depilatory cream on for seven minutes, which was far longer than recommended, resulting in painful burns and peeling skin. The reality star explained she has been battling an unexplained facial disfigurement for months, which she suspects stems from a parasite contracted during a trip to Morocco.
