Former Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has revealed he would love to return to the London club if he is ever forced out of Barcelona.

The 24-year-old spent eight years at Arsenal, after moving to the English club from Barcelona's youth academy, but moved back to Spain earlier this year for an initial fee of £25 million. It didn't help relations between the two clubs invovled and Arsenal endured a tough start to the season as a result.

However, Fabregas was emotional upon leaving the North London club and has revealed Arsenal would be the only club he'd consider returning to, if ever forced to leave Barcelona.

"If I have to leave Barcelona, I will go back to Arsenal - I would like to," Fabregas told Sky Sports News. "I am not embarrassed to say that the day I left I could only say 'Thank you very much', I couldn't say more.

"I'm not embarrassed to say that I nearly cried. Arsene Wenger, I have never met someone that loyal. He is one of the best, I really believe that."
