The eldest daughter of country music legend Johnny Cash is recovering under medical supervision, her management announced. While her team confirmed that the health issue has disrupted shows in Wyoming and Montana, the nature of the medical emergency has not been disclosed.

Cash's management shared the health update on her Instagram account, confirming that doctors had advised her to step away from travelling and performing temporarily.

'Rosanne Cash must postpone her performances due to an unexpected medical emergency,' the statement said. 'She is recovering under her doctors' supervision, who have recommended a temporary restriction on travel and performing.'

Her team said the restriction was affecting upcoming appearances in Wyoming and Montana, adding that Cash 'deeply regrets' the disruption and looks forward to rescheduling the shows.

No diagnosis, details about treatment or timeline for her recovery were provided.

Which Cash Shows Have Been Postponed?

Three September performances are affected by the announcement.

Cash was due to perform in Sheridan, Wyoming, on 8 September, followed by a concert in Billings, Montana, on 9 September and another appearance in Bozeman, Montana, on 10 September.

Replacement dates for the postponed concerts have not yet been announced.

The shows are listed as postponed rather than permanently cancelled, with Cash's management expressing hope that the affected appearances will be rescheduled.

When Could Cash Return to the Stage?

Cash is currently scheduled to return to the stage in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on 19 September.

Her touring plans also include a string of European appearances in late October and a performance at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on 9 November. Several Southern California dates are scheduled for January.

Her management has not announced that any of those later performances are affected by the current medical issue.
