The year-long wait for Bigg Boss 10 will soon be over as the show's host and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to launch the promo. The Indian version of the controversial UK reality show, Big Brother, will premiere in a few months and the Colors network is reportedly planning to release the trailer during the month of August.
According to a Times of India report, the Sultan actor has already started filming for the promo on Wednesday (27 July). The news outlet also claims that, the 50-year-old Indian actor will leave for Laddakh to begin shooting for his next movie Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan.
The reality show on Colors network is scheduled to begin after the finale of the ongoing dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Ja. The tenth season of Bigg Boss is rumored to air mid-October.
The format for the current season has been tweaked a bit to allow common public to participate as the housemates. Khan, meanwhile, has expressed that it would be challenging for him to host the show due to the format change.
"This year Bigg Boss is going to be the most stressful one for me. This season is going to have celebrities, stars and also the common man. It is going to be very challenging as people from different sectors are going to be a part of it," he told TOI in June thisyear.
As the promo news is now out, fans have started speculating about the prospective contestants. Each year, the show includes contestants from various fields including, modelling, acting, politics, sports and people who created controversies with their actions or speech.
Qandeel Baloch, the controversial Pakistani model who was murdered by her brother in the name of honour, was rumoured to be one of the future housemates for the show. A post on the Pakistani social media star's Facebook account (which is now deactivated) hinted at her arrival at the Bigg Boss house.
Every year, before the show begins, speculations regarding the contestants spark but most of the rumours stay rumours only.
