Bollywood actor Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan will be teaming up for the third time to make a new movie that could surpass their previous records at the box office. The duo have scored two massive hits with Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which were released on Eid in 2012 and 2015 respectively.

According to Filmi Beat, Salman has agreed to work on the untitled movie after discussions were held on the first draft of the script that was penned by Kabir while he was in Austria. The Dabangg actor will be shooting for the movie starting this November after wrapping up Yash Raj Films' Sultan, it reported. The untitled movie is expected to release in June 2017 and will be produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films, the report added.

"I share a comfortable working relationship with Salman. Moreover, after two major hits, I am definitely going to make another movie with him. However, right now I cannot tell if it will be my next film or not," Kabir told DNA.

"The script has been locked and Salman recently gave his nod to Kabir. Their upcoming project is likely to go on floors by the end of this year," a source told Mid-Day. "The jodi [collaboration] of Kabir and Salman has delivered big at the box office and the trade circles are now buzzing with news of their next film together. An Eid 2017 release is being targeted. They expect fireworks yet again," the source said.
