Selena Gomez has broken her social media haitus with a touching message for her fans. The Kill Em with Kindness singer returned to Instagram following her break due to health reasons.

Gomez posted an image of herself with a group of excited fans and wrote, "I have a lot to be thankful for this year.. My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I've finally fought the fight of not 'being enough'. "

Thanking the fans for all the love, the singer said, "I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless"

The singer, who took a break from her singing career because of anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and Lupus woes, returned to limelight with the 2016 American Music Awards. The singer nearly choked up while opening up about her struggles at the AMAs.

"In 2014, this stage was actually the first time that I was authentically 100 percent honest with all of you. I think it's safe to say most of you know my life whether I liked it or not. And I had to stop. Because I had everything. And I was absolutely broken inside. I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down, " the 24-year-old singer admitted.

Gomez continued, "I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what's in here. I'm not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore. All I can say is I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to be able to share what I love every day with people that I love."
