Simon Cowell, entertainment mogul, is being sued by a Britain's Got Talent contestant for 'hurting her feelings'.

The wannabe singer, Ms Czikai, from Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham, was confident of impressing the judges before her audition: "Oh Simon, I'm wonderful," she said when asked whether she thought the had the talent.

However, the audition failed and Simon called her a 'horrible singer'.

The pre-trial review at Central London Tribunal Court will determine whether the case can be accepted or not, however, Thomas Linden QC, representing Cowell's Simco Ltd, said Ms Czikai's claim was without foundation.

He added that the contestant was not employed by either the show or Cowell's company and the judges were unaware of her disability which she claimed 'affected her hearing' during the audition.
