What are the PC system requirements for running the full version of Star Wars Battlefront EA

After developers of Star Wars Battlefront revealed that the beta version of the game would mandatorily require an internet connection for gamers to play missions, the hardware requirements which are to be met by gamers on PCs have now surfaced. PC gamers, intending to obtain and check out Star Wars Battlefield must mandatorily possess the following hardware configuration within their systems.

PC system requirements recommended for optimal performance of the game, as per a GameSpot report:

  • Chipset - Intel i5 6600 or equivalent CPU
  • Memory – 16GB RAM
  • Free hard-disk space – 40GB area required within hard-drive
  • Operating platform: Windows 10
  • Graphics Card: 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or 4GB AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
  • DirectX – 11.1 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Internet connection offering 512Kbps speed and more

PC System requirements – Minimum

  • Chipset – Intel i3 6300T or equivalent CPU
  • Memory – Minimum 8GB of RAM required
  • Free hard disk space – A minimum of 40GB hard-disk storage required
  • Operating platform – Windows 7 (64-bit) or later versions
  • Graphics card – At least 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or a minimum 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7850
  • DirectX – 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Internet connection offering at least 512Kbps speed and more

Star Wars Battlefield is set for release to Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms on 17 November. Gamers can check out a beta pre-release version of the game for free between 8 and 12 October.
