England got their World T20 campaign back on track with a record-breaking run chase against South Africa in Mumbai. Joe Root struck a superb 44-ball 83 to guide his team to a target of 230 – the second highest run chase in T20 international history. Afghanistan put up a spirited fight as they lost to South Africa by 37 runs on 20 March. The ninth-ranked side also troubled Sri Lanka in their first match and cannot be written off. They are placed at 11/2 to pull off a famous victory.
