Tony Pulis has said that West Brom were "the right club at the right time," and that he is relishing the challenge of trying to keep the Baggies in the Premier League.
Speaking in his first press conference as West Brom manager, he said he would need "a couple of weeks" to work out if he can keep the relegation strugglers in the Premier League.
Following on from their 1-1 draw at West Ham on New Year's Day, West Brom lie in 17th place in the Premier League table, just one point above the relegation zone. They next play Conference Premier side Gateshead in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, before a clash with fellow league strugglers Hull City at the Hawthornes.
