UCLA gymnast Sophina DeJesus has been spread across the internet after her incredible routine at an NCAA event against Utah. A video of which posted on Facebook on 6 February has been viewed more than 22.5 millions times already along with more than 400,000 shares.

During her time on the board, the blue-haired DeJesus manages to get the nae nae, whip and quan all involved as she lands her flips and tumbles. Unlike the Olympics, collegiate gymnastics in the US still has the perfect 10 – and the crowd was chanting for DeJesus to get it.

In the end, she came away with 9.925, helping UCLA beat Utah by a whisker with 197.100 to 197.075, though DeJesus won the crowd's vote. Collegiate gymnastics are said to be more enjoyable for the public as the athletes incorporate popular culture into their routines – rather than biggest events where the focus is on technique.
