'I always ask people this question, and I think it's super interesting: If you could reincarnate and like be able to experience someone else's life, who would you come back in history as?' Paul asked.

Trump did not name a historical figure. 'That's a very interesting question,' he said. 'Maybe Donald Trump, right now. I think Donald Trump right now.' He elaborated by reflecting on the appeal of his own daily existence. 'My life is very exciting. I have to be honest, I'm thinking about other lives, I think my life is maybe more exciting. The remarks addressed both Paul's personal life and what Trump described as restrictions on acceptable language. 'He is courageous. He's an incredible guy,' Trump said of Paul. 'He's got a brand new, beautiful fiancée, and you're not allowed to use the word beautiful when describing a woman anymore.' He then added: 'It's the end of your political career, but I'll say it anyway. What the hell? She's beautiful.' Leerdam is a multiple world champion in speed skating and has represented the Netherlands at the Olympic Games.
