Donald Trump said he would choose to be reincarnated as himself during a conversation with content creator Jake Paul, in which the president also endorsed Paul for future political office and made remarks about Paul's fiancée, Dutch Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam.

The interview, which covered topics ranging from historical figures to immigration policy, formed part of a wider appearance in the Cincinnati area. It also included a public event at which Trump joined Paul on stage before an enthusiastic crowd, using the occasion to make several unscripted remarks.

Trump's Answer on Reincarnation

The exchange took an unexpected turn when Jake Paul posed a hypothetical about alternate lives. Paul has put the question to several public figures as part of his interview series. 'I always ask people this question, and I think it's super interesting: If you could reincarnate and like be able to experience someone else's life, who would you come back in history as?' Paul asked.

Trump did not name a historical figure. 'That's a very interesting question,' he said. 'Maybe Donald Trump, right now. I think Donald Trump right now.' He elaborated by reflecting on the appeal of his own daily existence. 'My life is very exciting. I have to be honest, I'm thinking about other lives, I think my life is maybe more exciting. I've had a great time.' The response drew attention online, with many noting that Trump had been given an open-ended question about any figure in history and chose to name himself.

Immigration and Electoral Claims

The conversation shifted to border policy, with Trump launching into an account of what he described as inadequate border security during the Obama administration before repeating claims about his own electoral record. 'We had a bad border when I first came in. I won on the border twice,' he said. Trump has previously claimed on social media that he won three presidential elections, a claim that has not been substantiated. He also regularly refers to himself in the third person on his Truth Social platform.

Trump Endorses Jake Paul for Political Office

Trump and Paul appeared together at the Cincinnati-area event, where the Ohio-born content creator joined the president on stage in front of a large crowd. Trump used the platform to express his confidence in Paul's future beyond entertainment. 'I'm going to make a prediction that you will be, in the not too distant future, running for political office,' Trump said. 'And you have my complete and total endorsement!'

Remarks on Jutta Leerdam

Trump's appearance also included comments about Paul's fiancée, Dutch Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam. The remarks addressed both Paul's personal life and what Trump described as restrictions on acceptable language. 'He is courageous. He's an incredible guy,' Trump said of Paul. 'He's got a brand new, beautiful fiancée, and you're not allowed to use the word beautiful when describing a woman anymore.' He then added: 'It's the end of your political career, but I'll say it anyway. What the hell? She's beautiful.' Leerdam is a multiple world champion in speed skating and has represented the Netherlands at the Olympic Games.
