Da Brat said on the Monday, 23 March episode of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show that the singer described the incident as an 'exaggeration of conversation.'

The story gained traction after reports suggested Usher and Bieber shared a tense moment at an Oscars after-party hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, with some accounts hinting at a more explosive clash. That narrative is now being questioned, as Da Brat says the singer described the incident as far less dramatic, and nothing beyond a conversation has been confirmed.

Feud Claims Meet a Public Pushback

Da Brat said she had spoken to Usher directly and relayed his message in unusually plain terms. 'He's been nothing but supportive of plenty of issues that Justin Bieber has had throughout the years,' she said, before adding that people could 'actively check the records for all that.'
