Vampire Diaries season 7
Fans may get to see Damon and Bonnie get intimate in Vampire Diaries season 7 CW

Vampire Diaries season 7 premiere will see a different side of Damon as he may plunge into grief after Kai put Elena in a sleep spell in season 6.

He could turn dangerous while mourning the loss of the love of his life. However, this may not mean that he would take a vow of celibacy in season 7.

TV Guide reported that the elder Salvatore brother will find Bonnie as his moral compass and the couple may indulge in sex to comfort each other.

The CW series will introduce five new characters, out of which Nora and Mary Louise will be seen in a lesbian relationship. Executive producer Julie Plec has called them "nasty little sh**s", who will turn Caroline's life into a living hell.

Plec also teased that Steroline have some hope in the upcoming series. After the season 6 finale many fans were worried about Alaric, who has remained the most unlucky lover in the show with the tragic death of Jo and his unborn twins. The show creator has hinted that the doctor will try to find peace in alcohol and would turn psychic.

"Stefan and Caroline might finally be together and Alaric will explore his grief in some very unconventional ways involving a lot of booze and... psychics and witches and trying to contact the dead," Plec said.

In the previous series, Kai wrecked havoc in Mystic Falls. He killed his sister Jo, while she was at her wedding ceremony.

He also released Lily Salvatore's "family" consisting of a gang of bloodthirsty heretics. In the end, a major time jump previewed a post-apocalyptic Mystic Falls.

The Vampire Diaries season 7 will premiere on 8 October on The CW.
