Sam Warburton
Warburton's knee injury kept him out of the first two tour matches.

British and Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton will make his first appearance on the tour in the third tour match against Queensland Reds in Brisbane after recovering from a knee injury.

The Wales flanker missed the opening two matches against the Barbarians in Hong Kong and Western Force in Perth after picking up a knee problem during training, with former Lions skippers Paul O'Connell and Brian O'Driscoll deputising.

Warburton makes up an all Welsh back-row alongside Dan Lydiate and Toby Faletau, while Manu Tuilagi partners Jonathan Davies in the centre against a Reds XV which boasts 127 Australian caps as well as Wallabies fly-half Quade Cooper.

Coach Warren Gatland is without Irish prop Cian Healy with an ankle injury, while the Leinster loosehead also faces a citing hearing on Friday following allegations of biting Force scrum-half Brett Sheehan durign Wednesday's 69-17 win.

England's Alex Corbisiero has been called up as cover for Healy, who faces another scan on his injured ankle, but a lengthy ban could rule him out of the remainder of the tour regardless of his fitness.

Healy would become the second Lions player to be banned for the tour's entirity after Dylan Hartley was banned for 11 weeks having been sent off for abusing referee Wayne Barnes during the Premiership final at Twickenham in May.

"Cian has had an X-ray and, while his left ankle is not broken, he will be assessed further when we get to Brisbane," Gatland said. "In the meantime we need to get Alex over here as soon as possible and I am thankful to Stuart Lancaster for letting him go so quickly."

"We're delighted for Alex," said England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster, whose side are currently touring in Argentina.

"It's very pleasing for him after he missed the Six Nations through injury and he goes with our full support and blessing. All the England players and management couldn't be more pleased for him to get this opportunity."
