Captain America Civil War
Heroes square off in a new concept art for Marvel's Captain America: Civil War Marvel Studios

A new video clip of Captain America: Civil War was released at the MTV Movie Awards, which gave fans a glimpse of Crossbones – the villain played by Frank Grillo – and some tense moments between Team Captain America and Team Iron Man. The trailer, which is about a minute long, teases a fight scene, where Captain America (Chris Evans), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) come together to fight a group of soldiers in order to breach a building.

"Captain America being given his shield, Ironman [Robert Downey Jr] forging his armour in a cave, the Avengers assembling," Evans said at the MTV Movie Awards.

"Every triumph victory, every epic battle has led to this. For eight years and 12 movies, Marvel Studios has built a sprawling cinematic universe without equal, and this summer that universe is gonna be rocked to its core. For the first time ever, this is exclusive world premiere footage from Captain America: Civil War," the actor added.

Marvel Entertainment, a few days back teased a video clip title The Past Is Prelude, which saw the story of Captain America and Iron Man retold. The video then shows the Avengers choose sides between Team Captain America and Iron Man in a disagreement over whether or not the heroes should be registered with the government. Captain America is against the move, while Iron Man is in favour of it.

Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will also make an appearance in the movie. He, most probably, will be on Team Iron Man's side as at the very end of one of the trailers, the webslinger was seen snatching Captain America's shield.

Captain America: Civil War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and will hit theatres on 29 April in the UK.
