NBC's new police drama, Shades of Blue, starring Jennifer Lopez premieres on 7 January. According to -year-old singer/actress, the show is more than just a police procedural and will focus more on human nature.
"What I love about this story and this piece is mostly that it is very human. People at the core are good, but we do things that are questionable all the time," Lopez said on The Today Show. "It's not so much about cops as it is about the world and about human nature," she explained. (via Latin Post)
The official synopsis of the premiere episode of Shades of Blue reads as follows: NYPD detective Harlee Santos (Lopez), who's part of a crew of dirty Brooklyn cops, is picked up by the FBI, which will do whatever it takes—including leveraging her daughter—to turn her into an informant against her fellow squad members.
