The M Night Shyamalan-produced series Wayward Pines returns with its second season on 25 May at 9pm EST on Fox Network. The premiere episode is titled, Enemy Lines, which will pick up from the events of the season 1 finale, as the First Generation have taken over the creepy town.
Below is the synopsis of the second season released by the network:
Actors Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Charlie Tahan will reprise their roles as Sherriff Pope, Kate Hewson and Ben Burke, respectively. The series also features Tom Stevens as Jason Higgins, a member of the First Generation and town founder David Pilcher's young acolyte. Nimrat Kaur plays Rebecca, a woman who has a number of secrets she keeps from Theo, her husband.
Hope Davis will return as Megan Fisher, Josh Helman will be seen as Xander Beck, a resident working to undermine Wayward Pines from within, and Kacey Rohl is set to play Kerry Campbell, one of Jason's lieutenants in the civil war going on in Wayward Pines.
