The X Factor 2016
5 After Midnight brought some soul to the Spice Girls ITV/The X Factor

Last week we said farewell to Sam Lavery after she found herself in the sing-off with Ryan Lawrie – leaving Sharon Osbourne to cast the final vote. As we move on from the drama, the remaining six acts will have a go at Movies week – singing classic songs from the nation's favourite films.

Expect the usual squabbling between Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Osbourne as they continue to fiercely defend the contestants under their wing – and host Dermot O'Leary continues to call the shots.

What's more, this week's song choices have been revealed – so if you don't fancy reading any X Factor spoilers – look away now.

The competition is heating up as the crowning of The X Factor 2016 winners gets that little bit closer. The lucky ones that make it through this weekend will find themselves in the quarter finals – and that's when we'll be treated to two performances from each act every Saturday night thereafter.

But back to business, here are this week's song choices thanks to the Jukebox deciding upon Movies week.

Matt Terry Writing's on The Wall, Sam Smith (Spectre)

Ryan Lawrie Jailhouse Rock, Elvis Presley (Jailhouse Rock)

Emily Middlemas -It Must Have Been Love, Rosette (Pretty Woman)

Honey G - It's Like That & Getting Jiggy With It, Jason Nevins & Will Smith I (Keith Lemon The Movie / Last Days of Disco)

Saara Aalto - My Heart Will Go On, Celine Dion (Titanic)

5 After Midnight - Try a Little Tenderness, Otis Redding (The Commitments)

The X Factor will air live on ITV tonight (19 November) from 8pm. Sunday night's results show will see another act leave along with performances from Craig David and Alicia Keys.

Then the infamous Jukebox will be rolled out again and decide on next week's theme...
