X-Men: Apocalypse's makers have started releasing a string of videos that highlight the profiles of some of the movie's characters. The makers have released two new videos that show the powers of a pair of the horsemen: Storm and Archangel.

This version of Storm is different from the one fans got to see when Halle Berry played the role in the first X-Men trilogy. According to Alexandra Shipp, who plays Storm, her character "has got this darkness to her. Apocalypse makes her more stronger and more powerful."

In the video, Storm displays some of her powers in a clash with Cyclops, played by Tye Sheridan.

The second video focuses on Archangel, played by Ben Hardy. The video begins with Archangel flying through the air, attacking three young X-Men recruits: Cyclops, Jean Grey and the Beast. Sophie Turner plays Jean Grey, while Nicholas Hoult plays the Beast.

In the video, Hardy describes his character as "very angry". "He [Archangel] cast this shadow of death across the land," the actor adds. The video then goes on to show Archangel in a cage fight.

Although few trailers and short teasers have been released, still very little is known about Apocalypse's four horsemen. The other two horsemen in the movie are Michael Fassbender's Magneto and Olivia Munn's Psylocke.

In the movie, Apocalypse is the first of the mutants, who will rise from his long slumber to find himself unhappy with the world. He then gathers his four horsemen and goes on a plan to cleanse the world of humans so that he can rule it. Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) along with Professor X (James McAvoy) leads the young X-Men recruits to defend humanity from Apocalypse and his followers

X-Men: Apocalypse opens in theatres in the US on 27 May.
