Guthrie, 84, is the mother of NBC News' Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. The FBI says she was last seen at her home on the evening of 31 January 2026 and was reported missing the following day. Investigators are still seeking information about her whereabouts and the identity of an armed individual seen near the property around the time she vanished.

The latest video was shared by YouTuber 'marktheshark943,' who has been posting updates about the Guthrie case. In the clip, a dim yellow light appears near what may be a door or window. The creator described the sighting as 'breaking news.'

He also claimed that a rock previously visible on the driveway had been removed. Images said to show the object have circulated online, but neither that claim nor the significance of the light has been independently verified.

That distinction is important. The footage does not identify anyone at the property, show anyone entering the house or establish when the light was switched on. It also offers no evidence that the reported driveway change is connected to Guthrie's disappearance.

The video nevertheless drew immediate attention on X. One user sharing the footage wrote, 'Someone is playing games!' Another said someone was 'taunting' others and predicted that behaviour would be their downfall. A third wrote, 'Wow. So much strange stuff still going on.'
