Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly becoming parents again and the couple are hoping for another set of twins.

According to the US version of OK! magazine, the stars of Lara Croft and Fight Club are over the moon, as it's "the baby miracle they never expected." On the cover, there is even a picture of an ultrasound scan.

Jolie had recently undergone a double mastectomy, after the Salt actress discovered that she carried the BRCA1 gene mutation that leads to a risk of both breast and ovarian cancer. The double mastectomy involved three surgeries over almost three months, including reconstruction surgery with implants. Jolie's mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, died of breast cancer in 2007 aged 56.

"They've overcome enormous hurdles, like Angie's recent life-saving double mastectomy, but it's given them a new appreciation for their amazing family life," a friend close to the couple told OK! Magazine, "What better way to mark their achievement than by finally moving forward with their plans to add to their brood?"

The couple are already parents to biological children Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. They also have adopted children Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, and Zahara, eight. Jolie and Pitt, who have been together for seven years, famously fell in love on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith while he was still married to former Friends star Jennifer Aniston.

"Angelina and Brad are dying to have more children," the source added. "Twins would be ideal."

In 2011, the Oscar-winning actress had revealed that she is open to having another child.

"Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don't know. I could end up pregnant," Jolie told Marie Claire magazine then.

However, a source told the Gossip Cop website that the story is "meaningless" and a "waste of space."
