An unattended Deliveroo bag sparks security alert in the City of LondonLaura Lyons
A Deliveroo bag is understood to have prompted a security alert in Bishopsgate, City of London. Roads in the area were cordoned off after a bag sparked the alarm on Thursday morning (10 March). Police swarmed to the area and sealed it off from motorists and pedestrians at approximately 10am. A City of London Police spokesman said a "couple of roads" were closed as a precaution as a result of a suspect package. The package was then deemed safe and the roads were reopened an hour later.
