A fresh batch of screenshots along with the changelog for BlackBerry's next iteration of mobile operating system, BlackBerry 10.3 have leaked revealing new features.

There have been rumours over past few weeks about the new BlackBerry 10.3 update and the changes it will incorporate.

The upcoming update will reportedly not bring any major changes but add subtle UI enhancements such as the flatter look, improved iconography and other changes, reports CrackBerry.

Now Zona BlackBerry has posted a number of screenshots and changelog, which are reportedly from an early version of BlackBerry OS As the listing suggests, the next update will feature voice assistant. Besides, it will bring a number of camera features including the option to record in 720p at 30 fps and 60 fps.

As these features are from an early build of BlackBerry 10.3, changes are likely with the release of final version of the update.

The box behind each of the icons is gone, and this might not be a final decision

  • Intelligent Assistant

Looks like BlackBerry is not to be left behind and an intelligent assistant is implemented in this version seems to not work properly.

  • New keyboard layout and colours

Slightly changes the design a more minimalist style and colour scheme of the operating system is now Black with Red, Black and red.

  • Advanced interaction

Features are implemented to turn off the screen when the device is upside down or, inside pocket to save battery.

  • Camera features

A timer for taking photos is added

Taking panoramic photos (works correctly) is implemented

The option to record in 720p at 30fps and 60 is added

Pin design capture and control orientation is changed

HDR takes is suggested when conditions require

  • Design changes in the Music Player

Emphasise the focus button makes the player and part of them is hidden the scroll.

  • Design change in controls and buttons

The controls and buttons worked and acquire a more gentle view looking design for a minimalist style.

  • The reaction rate is significantly improved

The system minimises and maximises application almost instantly giving a more pleasant browsing experience.

The Canadian tech major is said to be working hard on the next software update to offer the users an OS with a completely new experience. But until now there is no word as to when the update will release the update.
