BlackBerry OS has leaked. Engadget

The BlackBerry operating system version has been leaked for a range of BlackBerry 10 powered devices.

The OS has been leaked after BlackBerry seeded the new version of BlackBerry 10 device Simulators with version for developers a couple of days ago.

The leaked OS supports all BlackBerry 10 devices such as BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q5/Q10, BlackBerry Z30, BlackBerry Classic and the Passport.

As for the changes, this build is almost identical to the previous leaked OS 1949, with some fixes and updated carrier data, according to users in the BlackBerry OS forum, who have tested the leaked firmware.

"Love it so far. Had a bunch of apps opened including Instagram, Snapchat, Browser (2 tabs opened, one playing YouTube), Calculator, BBM and the Music app and I've had no volume rocker/stutter issues. RAM was at 280mb but that's expected and each app didn't show any signs of slowing down. Or it could just be it's a fresh install," confirms a forum member,

Another member claims this build brings the best improvement over the previous 1949 version with some core OS differences.
