Brooklyn Beckham Snubs Mum Victoria on Mother's Day After Brutal Allegations She Disrespected Wife Nicola Peltz
Brooklyn Beckham's Mother's Day snub of Victoria Beckham highlights a growing family rift

The Beckham family brand, once defined by its unbreakable unity and coordinated public appearances, appears to be fracturing under the weight of an increasingly public rift. On UK Mother's Day, Brooklyn Beckham opted for a pointed silence regarding his mother, Victoria Beckham, while showering his mother-in-law, Claudia Peltz, with praise.
The gesture made plain what Brooklyn has been signalling for some time: his loyalties now lie firmly with his wife's family, not his own.
Brooklyn Beckham Ignores Victoria on Mother's Day
The public snub occurred on Sunday when Brooklyn failed to post any tribute to Victoria, a departure from his previous social media habits. Instead, he shared a heartfelt message dedicated to Nicola's mother, Claudia Peltz, calling her 'the best mother in law' to mark her birthday.
This was seen by many as a calculated move to distance himself from the Beckham matriarch while aligning more closely with his wife's family. The omission is particularly striking given Brooklyn's very public allegations against his parents, accusations that centred on claims his family repeatedly disrespected his wife, Nicola Peltz. As Brooklyn distances himself from the Beckhams, he has made little secret of his growing closeness to his in-laws.

The Beckhams Poured Victoria Love
Despite Brooklyn's snub, his father and siblings made sure Victoria felt celebrated on Mother's Day. David Beckham shared a throwback photo of Victoria with a baby bump, calling her 'the most amazing mummy.'
'You are an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be to our 4 amazing children. We love you so much and I'm so thankful for the family we have created. Have a special Mother's Day because if there's one person that deserves it it's you,' David wrote.
Brooklyn's three siblings also gave their mother a shoutout. Harper shared a photo of herself with Victoria and wrote, 'Always by mummy's side.' Romeo celebrated his mum by sharing a throwback snap of Victoria carrying him as a baby. 'Happy Mother's Day mum thank u for all you do, no one does it like u. love u so much and always,' he wrote on his Instagram Story. Meanwhile, Cruz shared a throwback photo of himself being playful with his mum; Victoria is about to kiss him while he grins at the camera.
Brooklyn's Brutal Allegations at Victoria
Brooklyn Beckham made several allegations against Victoria in a six-page post on Instagram earlier this year, publicly confirming his falling-out with his parents. Among them, he claimed Victoria cancelled Nicola's wedding dress 'in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design'. Though that account was met with scepticism, given Nicola had previously said she worked with Valentino on her gown for at least a year.
Brooklyn also alleged that Victoria 'hijacked' their first wedding dance and danced with him in a way that made him uncomfortable, and that she repeatedly invited women from his past into their lives, which he described as 'disrespecting' his wife.
'My mum went so far as to call me "evil" because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands,' he added.
A reconciliation appears unlikely in the near term. Brooklyn was unequivocal in the same post: 'I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.'
